Full-time Trump bootlicker and part-time Florida governor, Ron DeSantis, has come under fire since May for his firing of a state data scientist that refused orders to purposely misrepresent official state data. He’s also been misrepresenting nursing home data and refusing to publish ICU data since the beginning of the pandemic. But not everyone lives in a state run by a lunatic Republican governor. So that’s the focus of this discussion today. I’d like to hear from people who have loved ones in nursing homes and what their state is doing in terms of collecting data and being transparent with the public. With New Jersey hinting at allowing outdoor visitation under a controlled environment, I’d also like to know peoples’ opinions on that idea. Nursing homes were always an obvious target for COVID-19 and it’s sad that many not them in this country are underfunded and understaffed. Please feel free to comment below…
