In the middle of July, the Trump administration announced that they would be switching over their data collection from the CDC to the HHS. This came “coincidentally” at a time when cases were rising rapidly. We were hitting 70-75K cases per day and have since leveled off. Many in the medical community have been skeptical of the data now. Hospitalization records have been inconsistent in Florida since the beginning and Missouri went a whole week without reporting any data. This is very serious because we need accurate data in order to get ahead of the virus and implement proper mitigation measures. Likewise, the administration would prefer to do everything they can to fudge the data and create a new narrative of decreasing cases since school is starting this month for many states. So, I’m opening up this board to anyone in the medical field who also has noticed this and who may have some information that the rest of us are not privy to. Feel free to comment below…
